Terms and conditions

General information


When you visit Bendixen Design's webshop and make a purchase, you automatically accept the terms and conditions stated below. Therefore, we recommend that you read and understand these terms before making your purchase.

Please note that the phone goes directly to the workshop where we are busy with projects such as sewing, engraving, sawing, polishing, etc., and therefore we may not always be able to answer phone calls. Therefore, we recommend that you contact us via email or text message, as we will then get back to you as soon as possible.

Payment


At Bendixen Design's webshop, you can use various payment cards such as VISA/ Dankort Mastercard, VISA, and Mobilepay (only available in Denmark). All prices on the webshop are in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT. If you order from a country outside of the EU, you may be required to pay local taxes and fees. We are not responsible for these costs, but orders from such countries will be deducted from Danish VAT. If this is the case, the shipping company will contact you. Please note that this may delay the shipment, as the goods may be held in customs. It is your responsibility to contact the shipping company and pay the additional costs.

We do not charge any credit card fees.

Since all our products are custom-made according to your order, it may occur that the specified amount is charged to your card when we start production of your ordered goods.

Shipping


We use GLS for the delivery of our products. Normally, the package will be sent to a pick-up point or parcel box near your address unless you specify otherwise under delivery address.

The price for delivery depends on your location. For international orders, we also use GLS. Shipping is free within Denmark for purchases over 1000 DKK.

Bendixen Design offers shipping worldwide. All international shipments are sent with GLS. Shipping rates will be indicated on the order confirmation before you pay. We strive to send all goods as quickly as possible, but important information about delivery times can be seen below:

NOTE - All our products are custom-made, and our normal production time is 7 business days, after which we pack and send with GLS. The production time may be shorter or longer, which we will inform you about when ordering, and we always send as quickly as possible.

All our items are shipped as package posts, which allows for traceability in case of problems. The goods are insured during transportation, and we kindly ask you to check the contents of the package upon receipt. If the package and/or its contents are damaged upon delivery, please notify the chosen shipping company immediately or no later than 2 days after receipt and return the item to us.

We do not accept responsibility for goods that are damaged during transport. We reserve the right to cancel an order due to any errors or lack of raw materials.

Scandinavia: approximately 1-6 business days

Europe: approximately 2-6 business days

USA: approximately 5-8 business days

Rest of the world: approximately 5-10 business days

If there are delays with the carrier, Bendixen Design cannot be held responsible.

If, however, there are delays with the shipping company, Bendixen Design cannot be held responsible either. If your delivery is lost, we will send a new delivery at no cost.

Sold out product


Bendixen Design does not have any sold out products as all items are produced on demand. If our raw materials are sold out or have longer delivery times, you will be notified immediately.

Returns / complaints


At Bendixen Design, all our products are custom made and put into production upon your order. As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping with us, in case there are any faults or defects with the products received. We do not accept shipments sent by cash on delivery. We only accept packages that are sent directly to our address.

To return the goods, you need to fill out and enclose the return form, which you can find and download at the bottom of the page. In the CUSTOMER SERVICE tab at the top right corner of the homepage, you can purchase a return label, which will be refunded if the refund is accepted. Goods without a completed return form will not be accepted as returns.

Once we have received and approved the returned item, we will refund the purchase amount to the credit card used for payment in order to prevent misuse of stolen credit cards. Remember to keep your receipt as proof of shipment.

Bendixen Design's webshop follows the Consumer Protection Agency's guidelines as well as the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Any faults or defects in the delivery must be reported within 8 days of receipt. Complaints must be made in accordance with the rules of the Sale of Goods Act. It is your responsibility to specify and possibly demonstrate how the fault or defect manifests. You can complain about faults and defects in the product that have occurred within 24 months of purchase. Please note, however, that this does not apply to faults, damages, or wear and tear resulting from incorrect use or storage, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear. There is no warranty for beads and SW Crystals.

Condition of the item when returning it


If the item has lost value and this is due to you using it in a way that was not necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality, you may only receive a partial refund. The amount you can receive back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases, it may mean that you can only receive a refund for the shipping costs.

Warranty


When you make a purchase with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies to the purchase of goods. This means that you have a warranty for 24 months.

There is no right of withdrawal for products that are custom-made or made according to specific requests from you.

If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or receive a discount, depending on the specific situation.

You must make a complaint within a "reasonable time" after discovering the defect. If you make a complaint within two months after discovering the defect, the complaint will always be made in due time.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Also, remember to get a receipt for shipping so we can refund your shipping costs.

It is very important to us that our products are free of defects, so we always make sure to handle complaints as quickly as possible.

Reservation Clause


Bendixen Designs is not responsible for force majeure, errors in text or images, price changes, supplier failures, or delivery delays, as these factors are beyond our control.
